Educational Support

Our highly trained and certified teachers work with young children with learning differences in home and school environments. Observation and assessment are used to understand learning capacities and barriers that make up each child’s learning profile. The application of evidence-based practices maximizes development and learning potential.

Family Coaching

Teaching parents and other caregivers practical and effective strategies to address the challenges they face with their young children, from tantrums to toilet training. Family Coaches will come to your home and teach “hands-on”, effective strategies for your everyday routines and activities.

Clinical Consultation

We offer guidance and support to families with a young child with possible or documented developmental challenges. With clinical expertise, our consultants will assist families to assess their child’s needs, navigate resources, and where appropriate, coordinate a carefully selected multidisciplinary team to address the needs of the child. We can also assess the quality and effectiveness of your child’s current services to determine where improvements can be made.

New York Center’s Training Institute

As leading experts in addressing significant social-emotional challenges and developmental delays in young children, The Training Institute at New York Center for Infants and Toddlers is a premier provider of trainings and consultation to mental health professionals, preschools, and other early childhood community-based organizations and professionals. We can partner with programs and professionals to create a customized training event or series that best meets staff development needs through workshops, consultation, and/or mentoring.
